Consider this

The Official Board of the church is considering changes to the Sunday morning timeline for worship. Such a broad and influential decision requires care and thought, so a discussion time is set aside for Sunday, October 16, at Ravenswood United Church following the 9:45 a.m. worship service.

Three options seem to hold our attention:

  1. Keeping the same configuration (of Ravenswood service 9:45, then Arkona 1½ hours later - 11:15), but shifting worship times to begin earlier (15 or 30 minutes, perhaps); or,
  2. Working out an easily-remembered schedule of alternating which church takes the early time slot; or,
  3. Considering ourselves as one church with two sites (instead of two individual churches within one pastoral charge) - so one Sunday service at either Ravenswood or Arkona, again using an easily-remembered system.
Feedback is most appreciated: preliminary thoughts, comments and questions?
