The times, they are a-changing

At the Official Board meeting, the shift in worship times was made official. So as of Sunday (tomorrow!) it's 9:30 at Ravenswood, 11:00 at Arkona. Likely there will be some confusion in the first weeks but as long as the offering is taken up after 9:45 and 11:15, I don't think the Treasurers would mind. Just kidding! Mostly.

It is unfortunate that so much of our energy and effort is directed towards upkeep and maintenance of a building when our ministry is so much more than bricks and mortar, when the spiritual needs of the people and community should be paramount. I'm not the first, last or only person to be mourning this, but it has been on my mind lately.
