Parental Leave Preparations

As February 6th approaches, I've been investigating what needs to happen so the pastoral charge's needs are met during my parental leave. There is a meeting on Thursday with the Ministry & Personnel committee to discuss the financial impact of me being on Employment Insurance.

I hope to have a meeting with the Sessions of both churches the Thursday after that (7:30 at Arkona United on the 19th) to examine how the ongoing spiritual care of the churches will continue.

I have been in contact with a few people concerning Sunday pulpit supply (and possible pastoral care as needed), especially considering Lent and Easter will occur while I'm on leave. As the pieces fall into place, I'll convey the information as best I can.
