Ravenswood Annual Meeting

Some general comments from Ravenswood's Annual Meeting.

Financially, the church is holding its own, but only because of interest from bequests. In the week-to-week accounting, expenses still outpace income. It was asked that people arrange for their offerings to made when they're away on any particular Sunday (through post-dated cheques or a "catch-up" amount upon returning).

We committed to giving $2700 to the Mission and Service Fund and $700 to Presbytery's 2007 Habitat for Humanity project.

A new chair lift inspection contract with Concord will be investigated further.

Decisions were made around an Anniversary Sunday guest speaker and the pastoral charge's delegate to the London Conference Annual Meeting in May.

The next meeting congregational annual meeting will be held in early February 2008.
